I am currently enrolled in the MA and GIS Certificate program at the University of Colorado Denver. I spent two years after undergraduate studies as a GIS Technician & Specialist for a NYS public benefit corporation in Watertown, NY. I gained valuable data collection techniques as well as experience with database management and coding in geodatabase layers into an internet mapping application using JavaScript & HTML.

This is an example of a map request from an internal division at the Development Authority of the North Country. I worked with the division manager to address their needs to have a hard copy map of their current infrastructure to aid serve as a basis for upgrades.
In an attempt to resolve thousands of billing records for water and sewer, I was the lead on correcting data and creating maps of current districts and infrastructure.
As an independent researcher for AKSIK.org, I am now working to aid in their cartographic needs to display data gathered for NSF research project. I am tying my work with Shaktoolik into a final project in my Cartography course.
As part of one of our labs we analyzed various overlay techniques to understand how each one had different results. This technique I used Boolean Addition overlay for 5 criteria to figure out Bighorn Sheep Habitat Suitability.
